The Spring Retreat was lots of fun!
Thanks so much to Stephannie Tallent, Susan B. Anderson and Amy Detjen for teaching, and to all of the wonderful knitters who attended.
We’re a little short on photos for the event, because someone (who shall remain unnamed, except to say that it was me) brought along the camera, but not the memory card. So picture knitters working along on Bavarian twisted stitches, adorable Susan B Anderson toys, kids’ slippers and entrelac tams. Also picture a heaping table of Sun Valley Fibers‘ colorful yarny goodness.
Stephannie visited beloved local LYS The Sow’s Ear with a pdf of her forthcoming book, California Revival Knits, and at the event, Amy signed copies of her new book, Knitting with Two Colors.
Thanks a million to our generous sponsors; everybody loved the swag bags with Cascade yarns, pins and postcards from Sweetgeorgia and needle inventory cards from Green Mountain Spinnery.
Thanks to Knit Picks, Yarn Hollow, DRG Books and Rocky Mountain Dyeworks for the exciting door prizes.
Stephannie also guest-stars on the new Knitcicus Podcast; watch for that on Thursday!
