Mini-Retreat and Warm Browns Giveaway

Congratulations to the winners of the Sweet 16 kickoff:

anythingbutsnow on Ravelry takes home the big prize from Signature, Sincere Sheep and Yarn Hollow;

Becasue of the large volume of entires, we upped the number of runners-up to five, so knitpurlgirl, @serendipityknit, sheepishlywinkn, CarolLynn and Mujercita all get Winter Complete Collections. Winners have all been notified.

Now for more terrific prizes, see the end of the post, but first, the Knitcircus Mini-Retreat with Amy Detjen and Susan B Anderson was lots of fun. 1. How cool are these prizes?! I am so glad I found the Knitcircus blog. I am so excited about the teaching kids videos and the tubular cast on. I’ve wanted to try that for a while. thank you!

  2. Oh i love Sandrilene by Jessamyn Leib and it would be wonderful to knit this with brookly tweeds shelter. And the article about handspun… great!
    I fall in love with all of these giveaways especially the Rocky Mountain Dyeworks and the wonderful Shelter skein.

  3. Brooklyn Tweed AND Spud and Chloe… wow! I have been resisting the urge to increase my stash by 12 fold every time I just happen to wander over to his site… add to that the gorgeous patterns of Spud and Chloe – I’ve simply died and gone to heaven.

  4. I like Syrinx, Rosebud, and Sunslice from Winter Collection. The patterns are all lovely. Particularly like Suzanna IC scarf and hat sets.

  5. Knit Circus always has so many neat articles and wonderful patterns that there is no way I can choose just one! So I went to Debra’s Garden, since I’ve never visited there before, and really liked the Copper Leaf Scissor Fob. Other items were great, too, but that was my favorite. 🙂

  6. Hmmm, it was really hard to choose favorites from this issue – but I would have to say the Walking Into the New Year socks and Rosebud win. Both of them look like really fun knits. Thanks for the great giveaway!
