Knitcircus is Four!

Wow, hard to believe that it was four years ago that my friend Erika and I put together the first Knitcircus zine  and made paper copies on my home printer.

Getting ready for the celebration of our "Sweet Sixteen" Winter Issue #16, let's take a peek at a few photos from the early issues.

Issue #1? Not even sure where those photos are! Lost to antiquity…

Issue #2 was hand-bound with yarn and distributed to a few select (read: just in our city) LYS's.

Issue #3 we went glossy! And started sending them all over the midwest!

Issue #5, was my fave photoshoot; you can't beat an ice cream shop for fun!

Issue #6 was our special Kids' Issue: Roughhousing Vest design by Elizabeth Morrison.

Shawl by Michelle Miller

Miss T's Bisbee Scarf

Issue #8: Baby adorableness by Bianca Boonstra

Rachel Dickman's Sweet B's Poncho.

All of our models look so young and cute!

Thanks again to Laura Nelkin for her generous Adorn book and Butin Kit giveaway!

The e-book winner is: aknitontheside on Ravelry, and the Butin Kit winner is: Holli Yeoh.

  1. Woo Hoo – my name on your blog as a winner. So exciting.
Looking forward to hunting through my minor bead stash (this could be dangerous) and my huge yarn stash (no problem there). What a great way to stash bust.
Thanks so much, and a happy 4th birthday.
