Fickleknitter Pattern Collection book giveaway

We're so lucky, after being able to take part in Anna Dalvi's blog tour, we can now showcase Michelle Miller's new book, Fickleknitter Design, Volume 1, Leaves.

This collection features eight patterns by the wonderful Michelle Miller, each using less than one skein of luxury sock yarn! She's a genius at figuring out how to put those favorite skeins picked up on your travels for from a local indy dyer to stylish use.

The book includes several mouthwatering shawl patterns like the Golden Leaf Shawl (above), plus a lacy bag, cable-y cowl, and comfy slippers. The Leaf theme shows up throughout, with leaf lace motifs to thoughtful plant inspirations.

Knitcircus' own Tracy Harris created the graphic design for Leaves, so we're presdisposed to like it for that reason as well.

You may recognize some of Michelle's design aesthetics at work in the Fall Knitcircus: the August Pansy Shawl!

As I mentioned on the podcast, we're proud to say that Michelle has contributed designs to every Knitcircus since #5. Knitcircus' own Tracy Harris did the graphic design for Leaves, so we're presdisposed to like it for that reason as well.

Please browse through Michelle's site and let us know which designs you like best; leave a comment here with your email or Rav ID info and you could win a copy of the Leaves e-book! One lucky winner will also take home a Knitcircus Years' Subscription. Winners will be picked Wednesday, Sept 14th.

The winner of the Anna Dalvi Shaping Shawls e-book is: Loveelleon Ravelry! She's been notified and will have her e-book very soon.

  1. These giveaways are an embarrassment of riches. SO generous, and such inspiration!
I’m loving the Bow River hat and the Flambe one-skein shawl.

  2. Although it is very difficult to pick just one, the Tili Thomas scarf is on the top of my list. Thank for the opportunity to win.

  3. I knit mostly with sock yarn so this book would be great! I love the blue wrap and a cowl is on my list of things to knit. A basket full of little slippers at the front door for guests would be fun too. Your quick little projects have got me thinking now!

  4. It’s awesome to have patterns for those single but lovely indie skeins.
I really like the golden leaf shawl too🙂
