Whoops, how did this not get posted this weekend?! Sorry about that. The time was jam-packed with Knitcircus excitement; two photoshoots and two video shoots, so we'll have sneak peeks for you soon…

Fantastic new sock pattern; Candace Eisner Strick's Slanting Rib Socks, from Knitcircus #13. This one's $8, and uses Candace's special heel-and-toe techniques from her Strick-ly Socks book

Now for some Monday fun, a sock pattern giveaway!

The choices are:

Scatterling, by Hunter Hammersen: gorgeous cable design

PKOK, by Jane Prater: a heavier-weight, quick knit sock

In the Clover, by Jane Prater: unusual heel construction

Sugar Bay, by Melissa Goodale; wave-patterned lace socks

Paulies, by Jane Prater; shaped arch construction

Slanted Rib Socks, (above) by Candace Eisner Strick: Candace's signature heel-and-toe construction

Two lucky winners will each win two sock patterns pdf's! Just leave a comment here including your Ravelry ID or email address telling which are your faves and why, or retweet. We'll choose a winner Wednesday evening.

  1. My faves are In the Clover and PKOK. I like the former because the sole is flat and the heel is not, and I like the latter because it’s such a fast knit without looking like it! I’m (or) gkgreen on Ravelry. Thanks for the opportunity to win these patterns as PDFs!

  2. I like Paulies and PKOK. Paulies for the unsusual construction which makes it look like it fits really well, and PKOK for the quick knit.
