Okay! I know that some of you have been waiting, perhaps not so patiently by now, for the matching mitten to Tatiana.
I can't figure out why, but I've had major Knitter's Block on this project. I love the pattern and my daughter's ready to wear them, but I've been able to knit away on every gift and pattern but this one.
So, my apologies, for the lateness and the lack of pretty finished pics, but here's what I've got, and it should give you a good running start on the project while I wrangle the colorwork charts.

Gauge: 26 st/38
rows= 4 inches in Stockinette stitch
Yarn: Dale of
Norway Baby Ull, Bright Yellow, Hot Pink, Red, Black, White, less than 1 skein
needle, stitch markers
Size: child’s size 4 [6,8,10-12]
unstretched: [x,x,x]” diameter
bright yellow, CO 40 [44, 44, 48] sts and join for working in the round, being
careful not to twist. Pm at start of
round and mm each round if desired. Work
1×1 rib (*k1, p1*) for 15 rounds.
body: Switch to Red. Set-up round: knit around; inc 2 sts evenly spaced
over round. Total 42 [46, 46, 50] sts.
Round 2: begin Thumb Gusset shaping: at start of row; mm, inc 1, k3, inc 1, pm, k
Rounds 3 and 4, k around; move
Thumb Gusset, continue to repeat rows 2-4, increasing 2 sts every third
row, until you have x[15, 15, x] sts between markers.
thumb sts:, thread 12 [14, 14, 16] sts between markers onto waste yarn.
of hand:For sizes 4 and 6; switch to Bright Yellow ; continue working next
7 rounds for palm/back of hand in colorwork pattern. For sizes 8, 10-12, cont
to work 3  more palm/back of hand rounds in red.
For sizes 8, 10-12, switch to Bright
Yellow; work colorwork chart for 7 rounds.
All sizes: switch to Red/White.
Begin working face/babushka colorwork pattern.
Duplicate stitch to add features and flowers. Weave in all ends.
Note: in the pic, I started out with black/yellow Fair Isle on the yellow section and then decided to use Duplicate Stitch so we could have more colors. That's why it looks a little funny.
