Our family traveled to visit family this weekend, so we missed the Opening Ceremonies, but got to spend quality time with loved ones and watch some of the Olympics, so that was great.
My big Ravelympics project: Designer Original Dance, designing and knitting a sweater for my little Belle:
So far, two swatches in, still tweaking the textured section and finding the right stitch pattern. But balancing a Barbara Walker book and handwritten chart and our cat (yes, we brought our little Princess Tiny along) on my lap in the car seemed a bit much, so I chose another project on the fly: the Corydalis cowl by Knitcircus Issue #9 designer Diana Troldahl.
So, here it is! Finished project #1 for the Ravelympics in the Scarf Super G.Worked in Malabrigo worsted, color lettuce, I think. This was a super fun knit, lots of variety and satisfying to do in a weekend. Except for sleeping and snapping this pic, I haven't taken it off since binding off yesterday afternoon (sorry, Diana, the bobbles looked great, but just not for this girl).
But let's not wait any longer–here's the news you've been waiting for, the Grand Finale Giveaway winners!
